LEADERS Portmore and Seba United are firmly on course for a spot in the first round final of the Cash Plus Premier League, but defending champions Harbour View must win their next three games, starting with tomorrow's home match against third-place Tivoli Gardens, to have any chance of making the bonus final.

Harbour View have failed to win a match since returning from Trinidad and Tobago as newly crowned two-time Caribbean club champions and are on 12 points with three games to play, sitting joint fourth in the standings with promoted Sporting Central.

Leaders Portmore United are out front on 17 points followed by Seba United on 16. Similar to Harbour View, both teams have three games left in the first round and can attain maximum 26 and 25 points respectively whereas the defending champions' highest can be 21 at the end of the round.

Tivoli Gardens are third on 15 points but have played one game more than Harbour View, Port-more and Seba, putting their maximum for the round at 21 with two games to play.

However, the leaders are in action tomorrow with Portmore facing dangerous Arnett Gardens at Ferdie Neita Park in Braeton whereas Seba, who trounced a weakened Harbour View side 2-0 on Wednesday, could have a field day against Reno at Jarrett Park.

Despite the outside chances of Harbour View and Tivoli, Portmore and Seba remain firm favourites to make the final.

Portmore notched back-to-back victories this past week, nipping Harbour View 1-0 at compound on Sunday followed by a 3-1 win over August Town at Ferdie Neita.

Seba also continued on their merry way, whipping Harbour View after their 0-1 defeat at Arnett Gardens on Sunday.

High on confidence at home tomorrow, Portmore should start favourites against Arnett, who won their first game at home last Sunday.
The Junglists are having a poor season, scoring a measly six goals in nine game, but relish playing top teams and will be a hyped bunch.
Portmore have found the net on 11 occasions so far and should have the edge at home.

However, the former Clarendon side is yet to produce a dazzling performance at Ferdie Neita Park, which they have called home for the past three seasons.

Harbour View are expected to rebound against Tivoli at Compound with most of their suspended players back in action after missing Wednesday's game at Seba.

In other matches, promoted St. Georges could ambush Boys' Town at Lynch Park where they have only lost to Seba, in turn beating the likes of Arnett and Tivoli Gardens.

Waterhouse are on the road but should still beat up on last-place Village whereas next-to-last August Town await Sporting Central at UWI in a clash to determine who keeps Village company in the relegation zone.
