    Aston Villa v Arsenal

    Villa Park
    Saturday, 1 December
    Kick-off: 1715 GMT
BBC coverage: BBC Sport website, BBC Radio Five Live & highlights on Match of the Day.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says midfielder Cesc Fabregas is a doubt for the game against Aston Villa.
Fabregas picked up a hamstring injury against Sevilla on Tuesday and could face a fitness test on Friday.

"I don't know how long it will be," Wenger told the club's website. "We hope it will be a very short time, maybe he'll even be okay for Saturday.

"But the medical staff are not optimistic about that. The worst case for him realistically is 10 days."

He added: "We have a slight chance to get Gael Clichy and Alexander Hleb back.

"Mathieu Flamini will be available. Of course Robin van Persie is still out."

    BIG-MATCH FACTS

Arsenal return to league business having had their club record, 28-match, undefeated sequence ended in Spain by Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Aston Villa are on their longest winning run in over seven years. They are vying to complete five Premier League victories on the spin for the first time since April 1998.

The Gunners defend their three point lead at the top of the table and an unbeaten league steak that is one week short of eight months in duration.

The north Londoners have netted in every Premier League game this season, and boast the strongest attack in the highest league.

Arsenal hold a 50% win record against Villa in the Premier League (15 of 30).

Arsenal had lost the Carling Cup final and been just been knocked out of the FA Cup and Champions League when they met Villa in March, and gained all three points through a fortuitous goal from Vassiriki Diaby.

    mmmm?
    First by 6 pts?

...and, Liverpool could join ManU in 2nd with same number of matches?
That could not be the 'failing Liverpool' I am hearing about in the media?
