Arsenal will be without captain William Gallas for the trip to Sevilla but will welcome midfield trio Cesc Fabregas, Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto back.
Defender Philippe Senderos also returns following a back injury but striker Emmanuel Adebayor and full-back Gael Clichy did not travel with the squad.

Sevilla leading scorer Luis Fabiano has been passed fit after an ankle problem.
A late decision will be made on whether defender Jose Angel Crespo is ready to play after his fractured cheekbone.

Arsenal (from): Almunia, Sagna, Fabregas, Toure, Senderos, Rosicky, Diarra, Eduardo, Denilson, Flamini, Song, Gilberto, Bendtner, Eboue, Traore, Hoyte, Walcott, Lehmann.

    BIG MATCH STATS

    Qualification
Sevilla can progress to the next round if they beat Arsenal, who have already qualified. If Slavia fail to beat Steaua, the Spaniards are through regardless of their own result.

    Head-to-heads
Arsenal's 3-0 win against Sevilla in the reverse fixture of this group was the first ever meeting between these clubs.

    European history
Sevilla have won the Uefa Cup in the past two seasons. No club has won European trophies in three successive seasons since Liverpool won the 1976 Uefa Cup and the 1977 and 1978 Champions Cups.

Sevilla are in their 12th season of European football; the Gunners are making their 10th successive appearance in the CL main competition.

    Current European form
Sevilla have only lost one of their 37 home fixtures in Europe; the Uefa Cup group match against AZ on 14 December 2006 (1-2). They have won their last three CL matches.

Arsenal are still undefeated in Group H, picking up 10 points from four matches. Including their CL qualifying matches against Sparta Prague, the north Londoners have kept six consecutive clean sheets in all European competitions. Their 7-0 win against Slavia Prague was the joint biggest victory in CL history at the time. Since then, Liverpool have beaten the record by thrashing Besiktas 8-0.

    Player and disciplinary info
Sevilla's Seydou Keita and Adriano Correia will be suspended if they receive a yellow card. Emmanuel Adebayor (Arsenal) will be suspended if he receives a yellow card.

If selected, Sevilla's Alexander Kerzhakov will be playing on his 25th birthday.

    Other miscellaneous facts
Arsenal beat Wigan Athletic, 2-0 on Saturday and are three points clear of Manchester United at the top of the Barclays Premier League. Sevilla lost 1-2 to RCD Mallorca, and have 15 points in the Primera Division, 14 points behind leaders Real Madrid.
