Equipment Giants ADIDAS, Announces a three year
Sponsorship Deal
with Harbour View Football Club!
Mr Carl Chang, the main driving force behind the
Sporting Equipment Megastore in Jamaica, Western
Sports Limited proudly announced his long awaited
Alliance with the "Stars of the East" today at a well
attended Press Conference held at his company offices
in Unit #5 of the Blaise Industrial Complex.
Main Speakers:
Flanked by board members of the Club lead by Chairman,
Carvel Stewart, President Sydney Masters, Emcee,
Michael Jureidini opened with Prayers and General
Manager, Clyde Jureidini welcomed all guests with
Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association
President, Ambassador, Stewart Stephenson brought a
KSAFA tribute in rounding of the head table.
The lavish package of on-and-off the field team gear
were well received and exquisitely displayed by the
courteous Staff who extended their services to
catering to the many Media Houses in attendance.
Adidas Gears Package Sponsorship outlined:
Mr Chang, who incidentally grew up in Harbour View,
outlined the Two Million (J$2m) valued package of
equipment ranging from Match Gears for Home and Away
Games, Sweat Suits, Training Gear, Shin-pads, Rain
gear, Hats, Travel Bags, Balls, Bibs, Tights
Goalkeepers Shirts/Pants and Gloves, with added
Posters, Signage and Promotional assistance.
The Club?s Vision:
Mr Stewart oozed confidence when describing the way
forward to professionalism in football through the
Premier League Clubs establishing their own
organisation the focus primarily on the leagues
development separate from the Jamaica Football
Federations main objective in the overall
responsibility of the entire countries programme and
specifically those of the National teams in preparing
and qualifying for International Competitions.
The New Store:
A dynamic new Adidas/Harbour View Branded
Distribution Outlet scheduled to be opened by early
December 2006 in our Business Complex at the front of
our Club Offices beside the Western Union Agency. This
will readily display our Official Premier League gears
with Replica Shirts, Shorts Socks plus Footwear and
Accessories plus other equipment in addition to
exclusively Designed Harbour View Football Club
Memorabilia and Promotional items.
The "Vote of Thanks" by Team Captain, Lovel Palmer
was richly applauded by the audience as questions and
answers concluded the successful proceedings.
