New Stoke signing Ricardo Fuller is set to make his long-awaited debut when the Potters take on Burnley at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.

The former Southampton and Portsmouth striker has been struggling with hamstring trouble since making his move but is expected to start as Vincent Pericard is out.

Pericard will be missing for at least two weeks with a hamstring injury of his own while Guinean striker Sammy Bangoura may be included in the squad after returning to the club having gone AWOL again.

John Eustace could also be in Tony Pulis' 16 after 18 months out with a knee injury and Jeff Whitley is also set to return after missing the midweek draw with Sheffield Wednesday due to a family illness.

Burnley manager Steve Cotterill has a doubt over Alan Mahon for the trip.

The creative midfielder came off in the 4-2 win over Barnsley and may be the subject of a late decision from Cotterill.

Goalkeeper Danny Coyne (calf) is still sidelined as he continues his comeback from a serious knee injury.

Cotterill said: "We'll have to wait and look at a couple."</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
