    Sheff Utd 0-0 Burnley

Sheffield United are still chasing a first home league win since August after being denied by stubborn Burnley. The Blades were the better side with the front three of James Beattie, Danny Webber and Luton Shelton to the fore.
Webber went close with a rasping early shot that was well saved by Gabor Kiraly and Webber also saw a late header ruled out for a push by Beattie.
Beattie was also denied by a fine Kiraly save while Wade Elliott and Andy Gray went close for the visitors.

Sheff Utd: Bennett, Bardsley, Kilgallon, Cahill, Naysmith, Gillespie (Montgomery 63), Tonge (Alan Quinn 63), Armstrong, Beattie, Shelton, Webber.
Subs Not Used: Morgan, Stead, Sharp.

Burnley: Kiraly, Alexander, Carlisle, Unsworth, Jordan (Harley 58), Elliott, Spicer, McCann, Lafferty (Mahon 75), Gray, Blake.Subs Not Used: Jensen, James O'Connor, Akinbiyi.
    Att: 25,306.
    Ref: Richard Beeby (Northamptonshire).
