    RE: RIP Courtney Livingston

I met Courtney at the National Stadium about two years ago, while I attended a Digicel Cup match between Jamaica and St. Lucia. Courtney was chating to his best friend balla about football, and when he mentioned the RBSC,they got my attention and I then introduced myself to him and balla.

I didn't know Courtney that well, but my impression of him, was that he was an upstanding and a decent individual.

Today marks 10 years since Courtney left us.

We remember him today, the gentle giant that he was. Courtney treated all with respect, even while contributing some provoking posts.

May he continue to rest in peace.

I met him a few times and know firsthand that he was a kind gentle and fu. Loving soul.

I miss him as much today as I did 10 years ago.

                          COURTNEY: History Repeats Itself.

When he was alive, Courtney had a famous line to describe JFF:

"THIS IS COMPLETE AND TOTAL FFFU**ERY!"

To this day, history has repeated itself. Over and over again.

I tell you that 10 years seems like it was just a few seconds ago. Our walk would be infinitely better with Livi. I am sure we will walk with him, again, that time in a glorious place where he awaits us.

                            RIP, Courtney.

My first trip to Kingston was in 1998. I tagged along with Ohene, Mosiah, and Courtney. That weekend was the premiere of the movie "Third World Cop."

At intermission, Courtney asked if I understood what was going on in the movie. I told him, "Yes, but I don't understand that he killed five bad guys in the first five minutes of the movie and hasn't killed any more bad guys since"

I remember the occasion. I was visiting at the time too and was meeting Courtney and Ohene for the first time.

I had forgotten they play the national anthem before the movie.
