Burrell lashes slow-paced Football Academy

Captain Horace Burrell has lashed the absence of a National Football Academy despite ground being broken for the construction of the facility in November 2003 in Portmore.
Speaking at the Portmore Football League's 32nd annual awards ceremony at Twin City Restaurant last Saturday evening, Burrell said he could "recall the function that was kept leading up to the ground-breaking ceremony at the site, witnessed by FIFA president Sepp Blatter, CONCACAF boss Jack Warner, then Minister of Sports Portia Simpson and other dignitaries".
