Add that to the wish list. Ask Ottey how many times she came close to striking Gold and yet it elude her! Strike while the iron hot, all this talk about "next year I'll get him" is all crap to my ears.

I want to hear Asafa's side of the story first...this makes no sense what so ever, him get a 100m bronze and a relay silver and demanding U$100,000???

he never got that before the WC, what would make him think he can get that afterwards.

I am sure Paul Doyle and Franno is very aware of that.

My guess is that he wanted out of the meet and used that as a ploy.

Nothing else makes any sense to me

NO BODY gets that amount of appearance fees for any meet these days. MJ and Mo Green used to demand up to $75K but only in very rare cases and only at the very big meets did anyone get $100K.

            100k sounds reasonable to me
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

A man have to put food on the table! He has a point. He is the World's Fastest man and that is more important than the World Champion!

Well the World champ worth 50K, We believe that the 9.77 was worth 100K, I wonder how much the 9.74 worth

So, do you agree with Bruce that Asafa redeemed himself in the 4x1? Well, what about now, with a new world record in the bag, do you think Asafa redeemed himself?

                      I don't!
