The audacity and the arrogance of these reporters. I am going to excuse them and say that, like many average Americans, they are just another casual observers of Track & Field and not a real fans of the sport. This is like after watching MSNBC, CNN and all the other news networks showing stories about the tragedy in Virginia and white supremacy groups and then turning to Fox News only to see UN sanctions against North Korea as breaking news, you wonder what world are you living in.
Obviously they "don't" know about the number of American athletes who failed drug tests this year alone, and who were found "innocent" of fault for ingesting banned substances. From kissing girlfriend wearing contaminated lipstick to eating contaminated meat.
