JAMAICAN RASTA (the Greyhound) Wins Debut !

JAMAICAN RASTA broke first and won winning his debut race by four lenghts at Twin River Greyhound Park in Lincoln, Rhode Island.

Jamaican Rasta, at 4 to 1 odds, was on the outside from the number 8 box and cleared the field, entering the backstretch with a 4-length lead, which held to the finish. DRIVEN BY COCO, the co-favorite at 5 to 2, was second. SOL KENNEDY, the other co-favorite, was third.

Jamaican Rasta's next race will be in four to six days, at the next higher
grade level. When a greyhound wins a race, it moves up in class. When it fails to finish in the money in three or four consecutive races, it drops one grade.
