USA olympic basketball

Watching the Gold medal game gainst Serbia.

The Boys are playing their best game of the entire tournament.

USA has had a very good Olympics HL, one of their best in recent times.

Even in track and field, although they did not win many of the marquee events they ended up on top of the medal table and way ahead of the pack.

They had less superstars but a deeper team this time around.

I mentioned before that Jamaica could add the following to their Olympic mix:

* Boxing
* Track Cycling
* Archery
* Diving
* Weight lifting
* Shooting
* Beach Volley Ball
* Soccer (we are already attempting)
* Table tennis

In track & field

+ shot put, discus, javelin, marathon and track events > the 400.

To me it's like a business. You have a product that is your 'bread and butter'....the next move is to add to your sales mix.

In mens shot put we had O'dayne Richards and
Danniel Thomas in womens.

In women's hammer throw we had Daina Levy.

In womens 3000m steeplechase we had Aisha Praught


Mens Long Jump Damar Forbes (9th overall) and Aubrey Smith

Mens Triple Jump Clive Pullen
Womens Triple Jump - Shanieka Thomas and Kimberley Williams

Mens 5000m Kemoy Campbell

Womens 800m Simoya Campbell , Kenia Sinclair and Natoya Goule

What IMPRESSED me the most, with the U.S. T&F team, was their improvement & performance in both the men & women middle and long distance races.

Jamaica had a diver reach the FINALS of the men's 3m Springboard Diving.

What has happened to Jamaica's boxing & cycling programs???.......

Though not considered sexy as the sprints....I am sure a medal in any of the above would allow them to eat a food above average
