This is the best thing that has happened to Jamaican sports in along time, and it will surpass all expectations and be a regular on the circuit.Next year they will turn away sponsors , the year after they will pick and chose sponsors and the year after, it will be hijacked by ESPN , where we will sell our souls for little or nothing.(hopefully not).

It will force changes in ISSA and the buying ting , dem affi guh legalise it.Penn relays will be an afterthought.Competition is healty.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

There is a huge shortfall in the budget this year. I suspect there will be one next year as well. Believe me they will be turning away nothing.

Pity this wasn't attempted years ago. Bolt, the major draw, may not be around for too long. The meet needed to be established as a big deal while he was in his prime so it could be on cruise control when Bolt retires.

              Anyway, better late than never.
