"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

He did something similar at Champs .... apparently he is that good. Someone needs to tell him to easy with the showmanship.

Yes, we all find it funny, but what if his foot got 'accidentally' clipped by another runner .... people would be complaining that he had the lead, he should have held the lead and it wouldn't happen. I watched his Champs races on youtube and he certainly is good.

What if he burns the track ,demolitioning these lessor mortals and injures himself while doing so , people would say he is a show off , he cant win .

Let the young man be himself.

Did you see the runner on the final leg in the U20 relay as showing off? Or was he showing his class over his opponents? The runner on the final leg of the 4*100 was he showing off when he went all out for the finish line?

Well he would have a comfortable lead to hop over the line ...

...Yea! I agree he should be allowed to be himself ...do it in the 400 and 200 where he has his own lane ... not in the 4*4 where everybody is running close together ... or where there are teammates who see the relay as their only means for a gold medal.

Why do you believe that it is showmanship? I call it strategy. He wants to have a lot left in the tank for the final 150m. If you have that lead at the start then anyone who catches you must use up a lot of energy to catch you.

Bwoy ... I disagree about the showmanship. I saw him pull up bedside a Jago yute at Gibson, talk to him for about 5 metres and then ease past him.

I actually think he doesn't showboat. He does not trash talk at all and is always humble and respectful in his interviews

They were going for the record. Besides another set a people would seh him show off if him obviously stroll the last leg.
