  • Windies with 2 wins from 2 games and Afghanistan

and South Africa left to play are looking good for the World T20 semis.

It was very good to see the team successfully chasing Sri Lankas target without having to use Gayle. That will inspire some additional confidence.

South Africa is next on Friday. I hope they wrap up things then and have the Afghanistan match to experiment with a bit.

So do we give the "big" players a day off tomorrow?

Or is our priority what is "in front of us" ? actually,

I would field a mixed squad. Give players who haven't got a run out a chance. I'd keep Gayle in for tomorrow BTW, seeing as he was out with no batting practice. Other "batsmen", e.g. Ramdin I'd play and push them up the order.

The caveat with Gayle is how his back is doing.
