In fact, the IAAF TV’s commentator Peter Matthews made a statement at least twice that Natasha Morrison outran Allyson Felix on the second leg! I will go as far as to say that we didn’t even need Shelly-Ann on anchor, except that she increased the distance to enable us to shatter the world championships record in the second fastest time ever ran by a woman’s relay team anywhere in history!
(End note: In shattering that world championships record, Jamaica was in fact breaking its OWN record, set in Moscow in 2013 with a completely different team (except for Shelly-Ann on anchor)!! Lmao)
