      Saw a clip where the Canadian fellow that finished 3rd in the 100 was being interview. As the icon Bolt passed by he saw the fellow, said excuse me and congratulated the fellow. Just once again prove how much of a people person he is.

        Yeah we are truly blessed with Bolt. We are truly blessed with his parents who are phenomenalyl strong and well grounded people, their humility and spirit remind you of the real Jamaica where spirit trumps materialism. With everything that has happened dad still working making him own money living sed place, truly these people are giants. The seed as them sey don't fall far from the tree.

                Yes...but we are mostly blessed since he decided to stay home to develop his talents...and the track community was savvy & skilled enough to execute correctly

                That's a key takeaway amidst all the chest thumpin'....

                  Don1 don't forget that we have a solid almost unbroken line of tradition in track and field and sprinting going back literally into the 1890's, don't forget that real knowledge and dissemination of such take generations to institutionalize, suh it not as simple to do same in football, plus track is a natural selection in a very Darwinian way, ball us a teamsport requiring a lot more resources to make true progress. Tough to make that jump.
