Arguing whether Serena Williams is the greatest women’s tennis player of all time has grown stale. At this point—21 Grand Slam titles and three decades of dominance in—if you aren’t willing to coronate Serena, even as a slew of veritable tennis gods are, there is likely little she can do to sway your opinion.

Hmm, well I learned something new today. Thanks Willi
Is a person crowned or coronated?
When used as a transitive verb, to crown means to place a crown or wreath on the head of a dignitary or someone with a regal position. A coronation is the ceremony held for crowning someone.
Coronate refers to something that is crown-shaped and is also a biological term. Coronated is not synonymous with crowned."It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men" - Frederick Douglass

Remember Serena was out of tennis for at least a year and a half because of a foot injury that just never seemed to want to get better. Yes, injuries are injuries so I don't usually factor those in, but this was not a natural injury.
Anyway, how many majors could she have won during that period?
