This is crazy,Gatlin runs under 9.7 clearly giving his best,Powell runs 9.81 with a subdued effort ,who can do better?
Gatlin eyeing a showdown between himself a Bolt,I have not ruled Powell out of the mix.

Problem is that Asafa needs to finish stronger consistently, he must make it a priority to be a very strong part of his race.

What I find amazing is my "yute" Kim Collins running 10.05 at age 39!

Maybe Gatlin will win by a nose, but I am sure the upcoming race will Gatlin's hardest..
The only reason Gay is a formidable rival ti Gatlin is Gatlin's speed taoers off after the first 50..,Powel in my opinion ,is able to sustain his momentum throughout..

Powell problem is not maintaining throughout. His problem is before the race.

He can only deal with what is in front of him,and so far he has been handling things well.Maybe we are covinced that he can't change, insomuch that we are oblivious to the indicators of change,he could have easily freezed up in the Jamaica Invitational Tract and Field.
I have never seen him this discipline and methodical, his best time in recent times came effortlessly.I do not see Gay beating him,I do not see Gatling beating Gay by much, you have to place Powell even closer to Gatlin.
That is a given, what I am hoping for is he hands Gatlin(his full 100) his first loss of the season..

It feels like we have been here before! Asafa used to beat up Greene and Gatling regular UNTIL him meet den at the big dance.

I want him to get the monkey off his back and I hope he does

Dat me say too. Look like dem forget say Asafa was World Record holder one time, and run sub 9.8 nuff time before
It is not that I think he is incapable of beating Gatlin and company, but after 10 years of not bringing his best form to the big dance he will have to show me he can. I liked what I heard in the interview with his coach/brother, maybe the change in coaching style is what he needed for a while but couldn't see himself doing before the big blowup.

I guess we will see soon, we all want the best for him.
