The Gleaner has been reliably informed that Jamaican sprinting star Usain Bolt has been pulled from the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA)/Supreme Ventures Limited National Senior Championships.
Bolt, who has an automatic qualification spot for this summer's World Championships in Beijing, was originally entered to compete in the 100m later today but according to sources close to the athlete, the decision was taken not to run the athlete at the meet.
The withdrawal raises further concerns about Bolt's fitness after the sprinter's pedestrian start to the season.
