The Trinidad & Tobago 4x400-meter relay team, unfortunately, will NOT win the gold medal in Beijing in August! T&T team members will find a way to mess up their excellent chances!

That USA team of Valmont, Watts, Reynolds and Johnson was spectacular in 1993, and while their 2:54.20 world record has been around for too long, I suspect that when it is eventually broken (not this year) it will be done by a new-look USA team (instead of this current team of an outstanding Merritt supported by three decidedly unspectacular first, second and third leg runners).
