Racers Track Club patriarch Glen Mills has come out swinging against the MVP Track Club hierarchy, blasting president Bruce James and head coach Stephen Francis for leading an attack on his organisation and one of his understudies, Jermaine Shand.

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

    SMH. Sad but not unexpected.

      have to agree.

my question is the age old Rodney king question .... can't we all just get along? WHY or WHAT is the need for acrimony?

Exactly. Its not like there isn't enough space for both these clubs AND others to survive and thrive.

Yes there will always be rivalry and everybody doesn't need to be bonafide brethrens but why this ongoing friction?

Neither side giving the full hundred and both have been known to play games. Franno loves brinksmanship and Racers used to poach their runners with apartment and develpment $$ from Adidas. Nuff 400m man MVP lose to racers.

Also, why Franno dem single out meek Missa Shand?

            Steeups.

I hope these guys realize that when it comes to the sprint events (100, 200 & 4 x 100) Jamaica is the top dog & they have the target on their backs. The other countries don't give a D@MN about Racers or MVP, they are coming after Jamaica & its sprinters, so continue sweating the small stuff & loose focus of what is of REAL importance.

It is plausible that Shand was singled out because a flare up occurred between him and Shelly. I am not going to try to guess who started it or who dissed who, just that it is very likely that it happened.

Do you have any idea what Shand found strange when he is quoted as saying ... “Also, it is strange because Racers athlete Schillonie Calvert, for instance, was never a part of my original team for the final that I submitted and was only added after the technical director said she had to be because she met all criteria because we had been going by times for everyone else and consistency was important." http://jamaica-gleaner.com/article/s...ce-controversy
