It's not often that HL contributes a post that educates you, One that nudges you to do some research, or causes you to sit back and ponder its profundity. There are times when you do ponder their daftness, the Leyton Orient one being one such!
This one regarding the Munros of Scotland I find most interesting, for obvious reasons. I researched that the hills of Scotland with altitudes over 3, 000 ft are named after Hugh Munro. Munro College's founder was Robert Hugh Munro. It appears they were from the same clan of Munros. Also, there have been three*baronetcies*created for persons with the surname*Munro! Munros who were barons! Uncanny!
Munro College happens to sit on the highest point of St. Elizabeth, not quite 3,000 ft up.
So, HL, I look forward to your next brain-nudging post. Don't make me wait another 15 years!

Very interesting post Mosiah... would you believe that in my original response to HL, I asked about the very same thing; whether Munro College had anything to do with the Scottish name for elevations above 3,000 ft and whether you knew.
I also mentioned other things, but when I hit the submit button, I had timed out... I forgot I wasn't on my laptop which is set to "remember me" and so I lost the entire post and didn't have the energy to re-post.
So, my question on that has been answered.Peter R

He can do things on a bike...most of us could not do with both legs.
This video done on The Isle of Skye may be one of his most recent. Skye is an interesting place. Hoping to visit that island soon. The only time TRUTH will hurt you...is if you ignore it long enough

Willi, my swelling is due to not having enough lymphatic channels as they were removed when I lost my skin. If you can imagine a leg that half has been grafted, so no channels in the grafted area, a "backup" of fluid accumulates in my foot.
Would what you are suggesting work in this case? I'll be looking into it for sure though. Thanks for the information.Peter R

your issue is circulatory, so everything should focus on increasing that , elevation of leg, moving feet and toes ,keep it awat from cold , watch your diet by decreasing sodium, salt etc.THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.
