The NHL Florida Panthers, plagued by injuries to its goaltenders, have announced open tryouts for a reserve goalkeeper. The winner will participate only in the Panthers practice sessions. The Panthers had both goalkeepers Roberto Luongo and backup Al Montoya injured during the same game, forcing the Panthers to suit up their goalkeeper coach. Luongo returned to the game.
