DANIELLE GORE perfectly synchronised her riding abilities with the horses on which she competed to create [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]history[/COLOR][/COLOR] by becoming the first Jamaican under-12 rider to win a showjumping event in [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]South [COLOR=blue !important]America[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR].Gore achieved the feat on Sunday, when she won the [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]gold [COLOR=blue !important]medal[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR] at the annual Guaymaral Gran Derby 2014 FEI Children's Invitational Showjumping competition, which was held in Colombia.

Excellent Performances!

Congratulations to gold medalist Danielle Gore and fourth place finisher Hannah Deleon on their excellent performance! The fact that these home-grown young stalwarts both achieved their results on “borrowed horses” makes their performance even more noteworthy.

Hopefully, we will see more of this successful diversifying in Jamaican sports on the regional and international level.
