PARCHMENT... we learn from each race
HANSLE Parchment's first thoughts after finishing second in the men's 110m hurdles final at the JAAA/Supreme Ventures National Senior Championships at the National Stadium on Saturday night was, “I am hungry and tired and I need food”.
The Olympic Games bronze medallist and National Record holder had not eaten since about mid-day, he told the Jamaica Observer, and the cancellation of the semi-finals of the event due to lack of entries had further thrown off his eating schedule.
However, after coming out of the four-day Championships healthy, something he wasn’t able do last year, Parchment's hunger is for a Commonwealth Games gold medal in Glasgow, Scotland in August.
