You dont think there is a difference between saying elite world class sprinters overwhelmingly have a certain muscle type, versus saying everybody who ever win a basic school egg and spoon race have a certain muscle type? Those sound like two equivalent statements to you? OK then.

Yes the environment factor is indeed common sense as we have all agreed with. Unfortunately your attempts at explaining genetic phenomena is not , it is more mumbo jumbo than I could ever aspire to.

A Chinese Bolt is certainly possible, however that person would most likely have a fast twitch muscularity as well.

Maybe, just maybe, over time, the African has evolved to run from the slaver?

Short sprints to the forest in West Africa and endurance for East African plains and all that?

Namibian students to study in Jamaica - Athletics among areas to be pursued
                    Published: Monday | September 9, 2013 0 Comments

Seven Namibian students are expected to arrive in the island next Sunday to commence a two- to three-year programme of study on scholarship from the University of Technology (UTech) and the G.C. Foster Sports Academy. The programme will include athletics training as well as other professional disciplines.

In November 2012, the permanent secretary and other officials from the Namibian ministry of youth, national service, sports and culture undertook a scoping mission to Jamaica to explore possible areas of collaboration between the two countries.

During that visit, they met with the minister of youth and culture, representatives from the Ministry responsible for Sports, senior officials from the Ministry of Education, UTech, G.C. Foster Sports Academy and other pertinent agencies and institutions.

The groundwork laid for collaboration was further enhanced by a visit to Namibia by the President of UTech, Professor Errol Morrison.

This visit was initiated by the Jamaican High Commission in Pretoria, while the president and a delegation from UTech were visiting South Africa in April this year.

The organisation of the programme on the ground was undertaken by Jamaican Professor Earle Taylor, the deputy vice-chancellor of the International University of Management, Namibia.
