I am still puzzled why Ashley Spencer was in the inside lane when she must have clearly seen that the recipient of her baton was in the second lane. She had to abruptly slow down and switch lanes, hence the lead that Russian anchorwoman Krivoshapka had on Francena McCorory.
That was probably the major one of the problems that led the USA to fail in their gold medal quest.
