What a sad story. Can't blame the lady at all. I would be bitter as well.

Country is sinking further and further each day, no question about that. This is really sad.

Unfortunately, while we know of her experience thanks to the media, there are several others (unreported) who have simply given up or are on the verge of giving up on direct investment/participation in Jamaica.

Brutes! - Vandals destroy pool for kiddie swimmers

IRWIN, St James — A week after her training pool was destroyed by vandals in an early-morning attack, swimming instructor Rosemarie Logan says she is "still floored" by the act.

"I cannot fathom why anyone would get any satisfaction or gratification from an act like this," she told the Jamaica Observer on Saturday, still in obvious shock and disbelief.

Logan, who founded the Blue Marlins Swim Club 10 years ago has not had time to throw her hands in the air. Instead, she said the show must go, on and is already preparing teams for two swim meets coming up in two weeks. She has temporarily moved the operations to the Cornwall Beach complex.

Why doesn't she go to WespoW Park?! I think they have a 25m pool. I am sure they would welcome her with open arms. I think!
