Jamaica now holds the record for the most consecutive wins in regional four day Cricket history after surpassing Barbados’ 12 with a 93 run win over Trinidad and Tobago on Monday’s 3rd day at Sabina Park.
The Trinidadians needed 286 for victory having dismissed Jamaica in the second innings for 259 with Brenton Parchment making 72.
Despite rearguard fightback from Rayad Emrit who hit a run a ball 52 in a 70 run partnership with Imran Khan, the Trinidadians were unsuccessful in their chase.
Nikita Miller who went wicket less in the first innings was the key destroyer with 4 for 43.
Parchment was named man of the match.
It was the second defeat from five games for Trinidad and Tobago . The Jamaicans now climb to 48 points with a perfect record.
