POWER, prestige and status. The right to call one's self president of the most successful local sporting body and head of one of the most successful athletics nations in the world has induced a combative race for president of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA).
Three candidates have thrown their hats into the ring — the winner to be decided at the annual general meeting on November 29 by confidential ballot conducted by the Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ).
