less than Calvin Johnson ...remember this a year is just his salary...he makes millions more from endorsement deals per annum

YOU KEEP MAKING A FUNDAMENTAL ERROR IN LOGIC...BY COMPARING bolt to the "average" NFL PLAYER....when what you should be doing is to compare the average sprinter to the average nfl player

how about comparing bolt to Peyton Manning?

Calvin Johnson is NOT an average WR...he is one of the best at his position...the average salary for a WR in the NFL is $1,000,000...how fast did Peyton Manning run the 100M in college...that is what we are talking about right...athletes that were steered away from track & field...

i was talking about what you do in GENERAL ie comparing bolt to the average

according to stonigut [Approximately 50% of our athletes who rank in the top 10 in the USA in their event make less than $15,000 annually from the sport (sponsorship, grants, prize money, etc.) ]

i am sure it is around the same in ja

[the average salary for a WR in the NFL is $1,000,000]

        15000 vs 1000000 hmmmmmmmmm

We are talking about sprints...Gay, Gatlin, Bailey are making way more than $15,000 a year...Bolt is a sprinter and we are talking about the NFL taking away sprinters...how Peyton Manning drop in?

Gay, Gatlin, Bailey are on top....the average sprinters are the 10,1 ^ 10,2 guys

not the regular sub 10 or sub 9,9

            [how Peyton Manning drop in?]
cuz thats what fast US children see....

Calvin Johnson is not an average WR...so why are you throwing around his salary? So US sprinters in college look to becoming the next Peyton Manning, a QB that has nothing to do with being fast? Gay, Gatlin & Bailey are not at the top...Bolt & Blake are...looks like you slept through the Olympics...

Good point DON 1 , considering they have a 400m Gold medalist with Jamaican roots and 3 4oom runners with Jamaican roots.

Are we that good ? Why are we able to produce them in both men and women is it the coaching ?
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Dawn Harper boyfriend retweeted someone on Twitter...

"So that Lolo Jones hoe didn't win a medal? Then why is she on PTI [Pardon the Interruption]!?"

                        Then he added this:

"Its quite interesting knowing there's a class of ppl who kno a vry diff vers "everyone's darling" which is why she's addicted to Prozac"

Yes ...athletes develop at different rates.... so what a guy was doing at 18 is not relevant @ 29 as he could have improved dramatically ...or not
