This might cause some confusion

A simple typo can cause confusion, and we have a clear example today.

The Jamaica Observer’s sports editor failed to catch the following spelling error:

In addition to the list of athletes not being released, the coaching staff for both championships were being held close to the chests of those who were "in the know". High-ranking JAAA executive Alfred 'Franno' Francis told the Observer on Sunday he was not at liberty to disclose anything until there was an official release.

As we know, “Franno” is the nickname for Stephen Francis, MVP head coach (who is certainly no friend of the JAAA much less a “high-ranking executive”).

The name “Frano” (one “n”), on the other hand, applies to Alfred Francis.

Just thought I’d clear that up.
