A simple typo can cause confusion, and we have a clear example today.
The Jamaica Observer’s sports editor failed to catch the following spelling error:

As we know, “Franno” is the nickname for Stephen Francis, MVP head coach (who is certainly no friend of the JAAA much less a “high-ranking executive”).
The name “Frano” (one “n”), on the other hand, applies to Alfred Francis.
Just thought I’d clear that up.
