Nonsense! Young youth, 24 yo...beat Blake....

Keston Bledman (born 8 March 1988) is a track and field sprint athlete, who competes internationally for Trinidad and Tobago.[1]
On July 7, 2007, at the 2007 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships in São Paulo, Brazil, he upset the Jamaican Yohan Blake in the 100 meters, finishing in 10.32 seconds (−1.1 m/s wind).

...plus him do 9.86 last week or week before...plus him win the Milrose 60m earlier...

One swallow does not a summer make... Bledman will not be a factor in London except in the "Also Ran" sub-category

In '76 there was a man named Crawford...ignore him at our own peril...Olympics bring the best out of some athletes...some can't do the rounds...Bledman can medal in London if he stays healthy.....

Yep, ‘Sass, that was a wicked run.

It will also most likely be rough going this year for Kirani James. While I still think that Merrit will win, there can be rude awakenings in the quarter mile in August.

By the way, with reference to that up and coming star from the Dominican Republic, Luguenil Santos, this is a reason why I hesitate to make predictions (except, of course, in the case of the superhuman, Usain Bolt). I suspect that this Olympic Games will bring some surprises, just as 2008 did, for example, when when Richard Thompson won the silver medal in 2008 after a lengthy NCAA season.

Yep. It is going to be a tough year. Santos ran the thing like James, like they have no fear. Yeah Merritt might be the favorite but when you have so many people with a chance in the 4, it is easy to mistime your race by chasing someone or going out too fast.

Yeah it seems like it is going to be open race for most.
