<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=5 width=188 align=left border=0><TBODY><TR><TD></TD></TR><TR><TD><SPAN class=Description>BOLT(right). to represent IAAF High Performance Centre at meet</SPAN></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><P class=StoryText align=justify>WITH the annual GraceKennedy/ISSA Boys' and Girls' Championships just under three weeks away, athletes will get one last chance to register qualifying marks at today's 10th staging of the Lucozade/GC Foster Classics in Angels, St Catherine, in order to compete at the nation's stellar high school event between March 28 and 31.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Chairman of the organising group Ventley Brown expects an action-packed day of competition as both senior and junior athletes continue their preparations for later in the season.<P class=StoryText align=justify>"We have registered 2,500 athletes from some 140 clubs, institutions and high schools, so tomorrow (today) will be a very tedious day in terms of getting the meet running... If we have all the events flowing throughout the day, things will be OK," Brown said.<P class=StoryText align=justify>As per usual this season, members of the MVP track club and Usain Bolt of the IAAF High Performance Centre are down to compete at today's development meet.<P class=StoryText align=justify>"To my knowledge, Bolt will be running the 400 metres institution men... we'll be having an invitational 100 metres - A and B for the females and A, B and C for the males - and also we will be having an invitational 800 metres for some Cuban athletes and some locals, which will draw some attention on the day," Brown disclosed.<P class=StoryText align=justify>The other events down for completion are the 200, 400, 1,500, 3,000, 5,000 and 4x400-metre events as well as all the hurdles and field events.<P class=StoryText align=justify>"We starting 9 o'clock sharp with the 400-metre hurdles and one of the reasons why we plan to go with the hurdle events first is because of the time it takes to move them," Brown added, noting that he expects a bumper crowd for the 200 and 400-metre events, which will be very time-consuming.
