What a great article by Hubert.

We all recognize that Asafa has some weaknesses which have prevented him from achieving all that he is capable of. Sometimes though it seems as if we give more praise or have less disdain for some that have achieved much less with thier special talents.

For almost a decade the man has been among the best in the world at what he does. How many Jamaicans in any field have been able to say that? Not too many.

We rough bwoy, but such is the nature of the sports fan. Thats why he is absolutely correct to put himself and his earnings before anything else, national duty included.

Lawrence continues to call it as he sees it. When will he get recognized for his contribution to the sport? Has he received a National Award as yet?
Asafa is our "grand old man" and carried the flag when all others were mere observers. I totally agree with the article.
