      Nesta Carter

Thanks for posting this, Islandman. It’s a pity about that last exchange between Carter and Powell, otherwise the anchor-leg run would have been more dramatic. (Darn, talk about an empty stadium!)

A healthy Nesta Carter is a valuable asset to any sprint relay team. Remember that he ran the lead-off leg on the two fastest 4x100-meter relay teams in history: Carter, Frater, Blake and Bolt in 2011 (37.04 seconds) and Carter, Frater, Bolt and Powell in 2008 (37.10).

The makeup of the team in Berlin in 2009 was similar to the Beijing record-setting team, except that the injured Carter was replaced on lead-off by Steve Mullings.

I think that the immense contributions of both Carter and Frater are often overlooked by some track and field fans.

Top athletes in the world and we have an empty stadium? Is what happen?

Watch out for Blake in London.

True, both are excellent relay runners.

Assuming all are fit and available, what order would you run them in?

                  Carter-Powell-Bolt-Blake? Carter-Bolt-Blake-Powell?

                  Does it even matter? LOL

OK, good point. Will there be a shocker fi a star not making the team?
Are JAAA rules clear that the top three participate in the individual races?
Remind me, there was an issue with Ottey in Sidney.
