  • Looks like Frater out of contract

Full time Jamaican athletes went elsewhere other than Nike who obviously have no regard for athletes and seem to just cut them off arbitrarily

I dont know the ins and out of his agreement but he ran in Nike all seaosn and even in the first round of the 100m then switched to a red Adidas shoes and now we see him running in the Jamaica top but with the Puma scratched off (wonder of that is legal)

Nike tossed Kenia around for a few seasons, dropping her after she failed to make two straight major finals, then she went to Puma then back to Nike and now we see her in Saucony
Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.

Not to hijack your post, but I am thinking about Yelena Isinbeyeva (sp). She has not delivered anything since she went to Li Ning (or whatever the hell it is called)

As a sports fan that has been to Olys and WCs, I fail to understand your comment here. Surely you KNOW who Li Ning is!

Additionally, when I was in high School, NOBODY knew the correct pronouciation of the upstart brand NIKE. Was it NeeKay, N-EYE-K, or NIKEY? Look at them now.

I would not be dissing an up an coming Chinese label. Dem is di Futcha!

Didn't a Chinese company offer Bolt a whole leap of money, which he turned down?

Are you speaking to me? As I was in no way "dissing" the label - I'm just not sure how it is spelt. So calm down brother..........

I am surprised they got so big. it must have been because of other sports.
