Thanks Willi, that's great information, but whatt is especially interesting is the difference in the splits.
Ah mean Fothergill is a serious youth, literally no drop off at all 45.3 to 45.4 on the flat from a stationary start.
Then Hylton fe a youngster showing some real potential 44.5 to 44.9 still a significant drop off but still very good
Then Gunz at 44.2 did what is expected, seems like he should have the potential to go 43.8 but i understand his leg was a pretty strategic one and needed to finish strong which he did.
Green's falloff was very significant 44.5 to 45.4 that is almost a full second so maybe nerves lik him or we seeing a falloff after the rounds of the 400H and the fast semi, anyway overall very impressive.
If Ryker can step it up a notch and get into the mid 44's and Chambers can come back into that range and Green and Fothergill can keep improving that is one hell of a 4*4 base for next year, that will give Bolt's team the confidence to tun him in the final for the possibility of the fourth gold in London.

We do know there is the possibility that he can repeat his 100/200M - 9.58/19.19 speed. He can get to that range and go out in the 400M while he is 'there' (that shape)...who knows what he would do? ...but a 42 change 400 split would be on the cards.
Your idea of putting him in the 4 x 4 depending on his shape, the schedule and the rest of the TEAM (...i.e. our chance for medal in that race) in Olympics 2012 does seem like a good idea."Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
