I dont want to call Shelly Ann a rat because that is what a possum really is and it is demeaning but anyways, the real story is the number of injuries to top athletes at MVP.

The JAAA media guy said on radio that they were not informed of any injury to Kaliese but her father said yesterday that she had told him about groin and hamstring injuries.

We know Shelly missed some raining time in late June and had to sit out Trials with a calf strain and we dont know how much that affected her preparations

And there is Asafa who days before the start of the WC was talking up his chances of winning then only to hear a day before the meet that his groin had acted up again after he hurt it in Hungary and had to miss London.

Bruce James was on tv talking about everything but failed to mentioned any of these significant injuries; was it possible he was not aware of them?
