  • Exciting times to come

The immediate and long term future of track and filed and in particular the 100m and 400m will be exciting.

Cant wait for the first time Bolt and Blake clash over the 100m after they leave South Korea, I am sure Bolt will seek to set the record straight while Blake will seek to show who is the World Champion- should be sweet.

Then long term, if Bolt really switches to the 400m in say 2014 when Kirani should be in his prime, it should make for some great competition.

I suspect by then James will be the World Record holder

that is what most intrigues me! some competition. if bolt switches it might even give asafa a lifeline!

Will Asafa be around till then and by then how would be compare to Blake and the young Turks nipping at his heels now.

I hope he gets that groin healed properly as I think he has one more shot at breaking that WR, especially if Doyle books him to run in Rietti or Doha the next two seasons

They wil be good, the white one LeMetre is already the first Caucasian to run under 10 seconds so he has quality and could medal in the 200m later this week.

Vicaut has a personal best 10.07 seconds and was third in the WJC 100m behind Dexter Lee last year in Canada and making it to the final in Daegu will be a massive boost to him and we know the French will throw every resource behind him.

Kirani MAY be better than Bolt...has surpassed Bolt's achievement at age group. No?

Sickko, yuh sound like yuh frighten. Bolt against Blake is not something to put in yuh BB. Unless perhaps yuh just want to see what new record Bolt will run.

And as for the 400m, any time Bolt decide fi run dat event, put dat in yuh BB, with contant reminders so yuh don't miss it. Not gwine tell unu again. Unnu eayes too hard!
