  • The other messages from the 100M Men final?

What is it saying about our 4 x 100M chances?

What is it saying about reaping an equivalent number of medals as last time up...or a number of medals just about that amount?

What about gambling with Asafa in the 4 x 100M...do we have any other option but to take that gamble?

Leave asafa out of 4*1, run Blake to Frater to Ashmeade to Bolt or Ashmeade to Frater to Bolt to Blake.

      Still win by nuff.

        With good changes!

        Agreed! Leave Asafa out.

...and after seeing Rose-Marie White run out of the 400M (she will be rested for the 4 x 400M) and Sandra Richards-Ross return to her poor finishing...I now believe we have a good chance of taking the 4 x 400M Gold.

Wire (Sherika Williams) will run her first 48 change leg...so will Novlene Williams-Mills...and Kaliese Spencer will also run under 50 secs. Yup!...we can take this.

Hopefully, Allison Felix gives the US only a 49 change leg after her labours in the 200M and 400M.

Last year at Penn Relays a Racers team of Mario Forsythe, Blake, Marvin Anderson and Bolt ran sub 38, they are all in Daegu along with Ashmeade and Dexter Lee so relay team should be good

                mmmm?

                MVP camp released that?
If so, why should our managers at the Worlds even think on what they say?

Yuh rite -- but is this 37.90 secs fast enough to win?

2010 - Jamaica Gold 37.90 2010 Mario Forsythe, Yohan Blake, Marvin Anderson, Usain Bolt

2011 - Jamaica 38.33 Asafa Powell, Michael Frater, Nesta Carter, Steve Mullings JAM

                  mmmmm?
Post the 1 you mentioned. Perhaps it was not at Penn?

Come on karl who going to cross it, one us athlete in final, only other country with two is France and TNT just seem to be not there for a sub 38, Asmeade, Forsythe, Frater and Blake could win the final going away.

You are correct - 37 change should get it done. Maybe even 38.5.

My fear of baton change problems should not have had me questioning that time being good enough...rather I should have been wondering on/praying for good safe changes.

The 'other' French kid Jimmy Vicaut was third in the 100m at WJC in Canada last year, beaten by Dexter Lee and has a personal best 10.7 yet he made it to the finals and Dexter might not even make it to the relay poll with his 10.6 seconds PB this year.

To show you how deep we are- after the relays where France again finished behind us, they flew Vicaut out to Paris to run on the French senior relay team in the European Championships while Dexter came home.

If he was born anywhere else other than Jamaica or the US, Dexter Lee would be running the individual event in Daegu. Maybe Dexter need to go find a wife in Bahrain or Qatar and get the bonus US$1000 a month for life after the lump sum payment.

But another point in our depth, our FIFTH place man from Trials ran 9.88 just before the Championship, who else can say that>

Relay gold will need sub 37.5 to guarantee gold.

The French normally pass very well.
