  • Two more bronze medals at WYC

Porter in the girls high jump and Olivia James in the women's 400m

Big disappointment for Chris-Ann Gordon in the 400m as she was seventh after dominating the rounds. I knew she would be pressed by the super athlete from the Bahamas who won WJC gold last year and was the class of the field in France.

I saw some one call her a choker over at the other rum bar but while I have not seen the race yet, I wont go that far, her handlers need to do some thing about her attitude.

Just spoke to some one in France and the report is not good, Gordon went out hard but "as soon as she came into the 300m and saw the medal was lost she lost interest and stopped running"

On the other hand- "James was fifth at the 340m mark but found another gear and snatched the bronze"

At Champs Gordon boxed the girl in the 800m after the no name girl dared to move aggressively against her then at CARIFTA after she lost to James blamed everything except herself.

Miller false started at CARIFTA as she would have won there easily.

That joker has a point. Gordon has done squat outside of the region and as i said i am hesitant to put her on any relay team given her attitude.

She thinks everyone should roll over and give her gold medals all the time and the joker is right she has a bit of Asafa-itis, everything she feel pressure she stops running.

yes she is only 16 BUT if she doe snot get over that entitlement attitude she aint going do anything.

Jamaica has had a long history of great youth and junior athletes and we are still waiting for Celia Walters and Deandre Whitehorne to produce outside of CARIFTA.
