Carl Whyte, a Jamaican who teaches high school in Salisbury, Maryland, competes in the second round of "Big Break -Indian Wells" on The Golf Channel.

One of the 11 contestants is eliminated after each round. The eventual winner wins $65,000 in cash, an endorsement, and a spot in the 2012 PGA Tour event in New Orleans.
