              Not exactly.....

According to some of the original members of this Forum, I was Jamaican in a past life.

Rotweiss Oberhausen, fighting to get out of relegation, plays at mid-table Alemania Aachen Friday at 12 noon Eastern. The game should be available on www.atdhenet.tv
Atdhenet also has a "2.Bundesliga Konferenz" which switches between games in progress.

As Zeppo pointed out earlier, Gordon was switched last week from midfield to central defender. If the switch continues, Gordon being able to play another position would be a big plus.

"Dumped" is a harsh word and truly does not tell the whole story of Dustin Brown's saga with the Jamaican Tennis Association(?). Brown tried and also went public with his difficulty of getting any help with his training fees. In light of all the troubles he had getting local pecuniary assistance, I have no beef with his decision to take his skills elsewhere.

I don't mean to be harsh on the young man; his experience with the Jamaica Tennis body was posted here so I was aware of his reasons... in that context he was quite justified to "dump" the garbage..

Bruce, let's hope Tappa gives Daniel Gordon a call before Germany does.

Daniel Gordon will not get a call from Germany (or from England, as his father is a Jamaican-born Englishman) while he plays for a bottom-of-the-table second division club. There are too many good players ahead of him on the depth charts.

Granted, it is possible that Daniel might sign with one of the big time Bundesliga clubs in the off-season. He has appeared in eight games for Borussia Dortmund
                            a few years ago.

If Daniel, like every other player in the world, wants to play in the 2012 World Cup, he needs to know that Jamaica is his best chance, if not his only chance.

how about trying to expose and develop some of our local players rather than chasing a 2nd tier German?
