COMMONWEALTH Games 100-metres champion Lerone Clarke and two-time IAAF World Junior 100m winner Dexter Lee are among a host of Jamaicans who have been named to compete at the Guadeloupe Invitational meet on May 7 — the same day as the Jamaica International Invitational.
Eleven Jamaicans — six men and five women — have been listed for the event which is part of the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC) series.

Clarke and Lee are listed for the 100 where they will go up against the Netherlands' Churandy Martina, Portugal's former European champion and Francis Obikwelu and Panama's World Championships 200m silver medalist Alonso Edward.
Omar Brown, the 2006 Commonwealth Games 200m champion, will continue his come back from injury and will take part in the 400m, where he will go up against Americans Jeremy Wariner, Greg Nixon and Reggie Witherspoon.
Beijing Olympic Games finalist Richard Phillips will contest the 110m hurdles against Cuban world record-holder Dayron Robles and American David Payne, while Adrian Findlay will participate in the 400m hurdles where Trinidad's World Junior champion Jehue Gordon, American Angelo Taylor and Puerto Rico's Javier Culson will also compete.
Berlin World Championships representative Alain Bailey will make his outdoor professional debut in the long jump.
Samantha Henry is the lone Jamaican in the 200m where the BVI's Tahesia Harrigan will start as favourite, while Clora Williams and Sheryl Morgan are entered in the 400m.
Sprint hurdler Andrea Bliss will contest the 100m hurdles against training partner Kellie Wells of the USA, as well as Dawn Harper, also of the USA.
Nickesha Wilson is listed for the 400m hurdles where she will go up against Americans Lashinda Demus and Sheena Tosta.
Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.
