Fond du Lac police had to use a Taser on a Cedarburg man after he got into a fight with his father at Blue Line Family Ice Center, 550 Fond du Lac Ave.
At about 3 p.m. Saturday, a woman called her husband to remove the intoxicated 21-year-old from the stands at the Cedarburg vs. St. Mary's Springs hockey game, according to the Fond du Lac Police Department report.
When the father, age 50, attempted to remove his son, the 21-year-old began swinging at the man's face, making contact with one of the punches, according to the report.
Fans helped remove the 21-year-old from the stands. Police later located the young man walking in the area of Fond du Lac Avenue and Boyd Street.
Officer Ben Colwin wrote in his report that the man would not stop walking and swore at him. The man ran from police, later turning toward the officer and saying, "You're just going to have to use that (Taser) on me."
When the man did not stop, Colwin used the Taser, and an off-duty officer assisted in handcuffing the man.
The 21-year-old has not appeared in court.
