Lets say the Cash Plus or Olint crook dem did buy a BMW say 5 years ago, and the car done drive out and depreciate already. With that reasoning you could now go back to the BMW dealer and say it was stolen money that bought it, so give it back and tek you 5 y.o. car back.

unless they can show some kind of culpable complicity. but in that case they would have the car with, although depreciated would be an asset so it would not be a complete loss.
in this case, it was prize money as incentive to play in a game ..... what they could go after though are the gate receipts...
