This video was taken from the LNAH semi pro hockey league in Quebec. The game was played last April.
Louis-Phillipe Charbonneau, #10 in orange, does some rather disgusting things.
He is along the boards in this video. The fight happened during the pre-game warmup.
In the LNAH, honest one-on-one fights are encouraged, as the players stop fighting after the officials tell them to stop, and there isn't any extra curricular crap. The LNAH is very strict about actions beyond one-on-one fighting.
Anyway, the LNAH suspended Charbonneau for the remainder of the 2009-10 season and playoffs, and the entire 2010-11 season and playoffs. Most North American minor pro leagues have agreements to honor suspensions issued in another league.
For those of you who know French, and I don't, this video probably has some very nasty language.
