The perfect example of Gov't waste (Chineee donation) is the KD Knight political stadium that is severely under utilized. We have discussed this political white elephant numerous times on the fourm.

Plans afoot for the Sligoville stadium now, finally. But yes, that was a waste! 4 years of sitting and starting to deteriorate.

Can U elaborate on those plans?

I understand it has been given/leased whatever to UTECH. So, I guess we can expect them to put some some money into it, to maintain it and to add to what's there right now. There is no track, so they may want to add some rubberized track.

In addition, there are plans to house a football academy (with roots in England) there also. Can't expound on that any more right now.

As is, that field is a total mess, not fit for even goats.

...just giving the larger picture of any of our physical plants or institutions being under utilized could be said to be white elephants and all point to the need for solutions...not some ass/waster, nincompoop, a body contributing zilch to "FORWARD"...'going negative' about 'what is'...and offering nothing to create the "what can be"/develop towards full potential!

We are, where we are as a result of having too many of such wasters! It would do the citizens of our beloved country well to ignore such asses, confine then to the 'hole' they should be in...and turn to those who come up with policies for "FORWARD"/those with ideas and those who initiate action(s)/help to implement the positives (positive actions).. those who would move us...rapidly...on the way to a grand future.

The question to be answered about the Trelawny center is, 'which way FORWARD?!
